Dr. Jungkyu (Justin) Park is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Kennesaw State University. He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Prior to his academic career, Dr. Park spent four years designing combined heat and power plants at Korea District Heating Engineering Company, gaining hands-on industry experience in large-scale thermal systems. His research spans nanoscale heat transfer, nanostructured materials synthesis, and the microfabrication of thermal sensors. Since joining KSU in 2016, his work has focused on two central threads: the thermal transport properties of nanostructured materials under mechanical deformation, and the thermal transport behavior of nuclear fuels.

Rick Fotsing is a Master's student in Mechanical Engineering at Kennesaw State University. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Kennesaw State University. His research focuses on molecular dynamics simulations and the mechanical and thermal behavior of nanostructured materials. His interests also include automation, advanced manufacturing, and computational modeling. He is passionate about applying engineering principles to solve real-world problems and plans to pursue a career in manufacturing and automation engineering.
